Ever since I got a job, it’s been so difficult to do things around the house ie cooking and cleaning. So for a month, the husband and I were living off of fast food :( Very bad :( So when we got some down time when we got back from California, we went to the grocery after what seemed like forever (shocking bill!!!:O) and the following day, I cooked sinigang! :) What a happy night that was! We both got off work early, I had time to do a bit of cleaning, I cooked dinner, and he took a nap! LOL :p We caught up with Grey’s Anatomy (getting really interesting again!!!) and fell asleep by 11 :) ‘Tis the life, I say!
It’s really tough and I could only imagine how much harder it’d be with a baby!!! Well, we don’t have to worry about that… YET :))
I feel really bad for not getting up to make breakfast (we just grab granola bars or fruit cups for breakfast) so I tryyyy to make it up with dinner. Tomorrow, I plan on cooking shrimp scampi and rice pilaf :) I
t’s not gonna get easier, it takes some time to get used to but I think I’m all set now. I am DONE with burgers and pizza for dinner.
It’s a really big adjustment. Like, I want to be the best wife who makes the best dishes and keeps the house super clean, but I’m also the type of employee who goes home and thinks about work and double checks everything if there were any mistakes. It’s my first job here in US and I want to make a really good impression but I don’t want to neglect my job of all jobs— being a good wife :) I guess we’ll just have to see! :)
Wooooh! It’s been a crazy month!!! Work-Canada-Work-LA-Work! It’s been so much fuuun! Been passing out by 11 every night tho, at least I’m over my insomnia lol. Now that we’re finally getting some down time, the hubby and I are planning something big! It’s gonna be a year in the making but we’re keeping our fingers crossed, storming the heavens, praying that our stars align that we will be able to pull this off! I trust that we will, with the help of our family and friends :)
That’s all for now! I’m so exciiiited!
